Week 2-Day One

Checking in to see how it went for you guys?  I felt better today for sure.  I was able to do more than the week before.  My arms are fatigued but nothing like last week.  Let me know how things are going for you.  How can we help each other as a group.  I am proud of each of us to make this commitment to get into great shape through an extremely difficult program.  We are all busy with work, school, and families but we have committed to a healthier body.  Kuddos to all of you guys for taking the challenge.  Keep pushing play and the results will be worth it.

Week 2

After shaking off the effects of Week one and a day of relaxing watching some Football I am feeling ready for Week 2.

Let’s Bring It.

Legs/Back/Ab Ripper X

Another workout down.  I forgot how many lunges there actually were in that work out.  I know that my legs will remind me for the next couple of days, that is for sure.  I have received texts and enjoyed the posts and comments on this site.  If it was not for the group effort, I can honestly say that I would have put on the skirt and either skipped or did not give it my all.  Thanks for the support to all.  Stay strong the pain will go away and the muscles will start to become more pronounced in the mirror.

AS TONY SAYS "ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY AND NEITHER WAS YOUR BODY"

BRING IT!!!

Yoga X

Wow lets’ just say I don’t think my body is suppose to bend that way. Felt like a pretzel half the time in the posses that they doing. Not sure if anyone else had to but as this was my first time doing Yoga I had to pause a few times to see what pose they were doing. Found out that Yoga is a whole separate language. Sure glad for the Yoga Block but I was wondering if I could get two. One thing I noticed though was that my lower back was starting to feel a lot better by the end of it. I also gave my kids a good laugh when they saw me doing the different poses.

Day 3--Shoulders & Arms/Ab Ripper X

Well, I got a horrible nights sleep last night and the first 15 minutes made me feeling weak.  Then the energy kicked in and I was able to push on and shred.  I took Mike's advice and split ab ripper and did it earlier in the day.  It was much better, not saying that it was perfect because my abs are still hurting from Monday but definitely the way to go.  That is the great thing about this blog for me, posts from everyone with tips, advice, or just motivating words to keep the fire burning.  I am glad that we are doing this together.  What are your comments?  Travis hope you are finding time to work out still with your busy schedule and sick wife.  Hope she is feeling better.

This is harder than I thought. Not complaining but I'm definitely feeling it today. I guess if it doesn't hurt were not doing it right. Well, another day, another workout to be proud of. I read somewhere that staying active during the day and tart cherry juice helps with muscle soreness.

Ply--ooowww-metrics

I don't know about you guys but this today kicked my butt.  I did not realize how long it has been since I have done activities like this until tonight.  Within the first ten minutes my quads started cramping up and it worried me.  So I stopped the DVD drank some water and stretched for about 20 minutes.  Then I pressed play again with an extreme unsure attitude I proceeded with caution.  Once I got going, my legs loosened up and I made it through.  If it was not for making this commitment to this contest I probably would have given up and found a seat on the couch.  This will not be easy and we will be challenged in more ways than one.  Mine is I am completely non-flexible plus out of shape.  I am committed to this for a healthier body, are you?

BRING IT!!!!!
