WEEK 7
Final weight lifting week of the second phase and two weeks left until the 60 day pictures. Time to push ourselves to the limit and leave it all on the mat. Go for that extra rep, or weight. Think about what Tony says, "the last three have to burn", do they?

Phase II
Well, here we are. I'm getting ready to do my first workout for this week. Things are good and I feel great. I definitely feel stronger and healthier. Not much of a difference in numbers. I weighed and measured myself. Results: 20.72 percent body fat w/Navy Formula.

Ready for Phase II
It is time for the beginning of Phase II. Time for different workouts, muscle confusion, and stomach confusion. Our diets will change come tomorrow, we can add in more carbs. It is going to be tough and confusing at first but stick with it, give it your best and don't forget to just give it all you got. Time for 30 day photos and your 30 fat % recalculation.

Week 3
So here we are, approaching the end of week three. No crispy cream doughnuts, no soda, and no double bacon cheeseburger from Carl's Jr. Just P90X. Proud of everyone who has kept their commitment to a better body, eating habits, and goals. Looking forward to the next phase. Bring It!

FYI- Whey Protein Sale
For those of you interested...GNC has a sale on Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein in the 5 lb tub for $44.99. That is about $10 cheaper than anywhere in town and GNC is never cheaper. Out of all the Whey Proteins on the market and I have tried several, I like this one the best. Just FYI.

Week 2- Done?
For some of us the second week is now complete. For others like myself, there is one more workout scheduled for tomorrow. Because of school on Thursday night, I moved Yoga X to Sundays. Some of you have had a tough week with fires, work, sick family member, or even sick yourselves. This stuff happens to all of us but so what if you missed a day or so this week. If you don't have something scheduled tomorrow than make it up then. Don't become frustrated and whatever you do, do not quit. Do not let yourself off the hook, time to recharge the batteries and prepare to get back on track and refocus. Nobody is perfect and we mess up along the way, the atonement gives us a redo and so will tomorrow. Put any excuses and past results behind you and move forward with an eye on the prize. The prize of a healthier, less sore, less tired, less heartburn, less....

Week 1 - Report
Six workouts and one week down...twelve more to go.
So far, I have kept up with the schedule completing all the workouts. Like I said in the other post, I had been sore all week and today I feel good. A good rest during the Super Bowl is all I needed.
Good luck everyone in week two.

Week 2-Day One
Checking in to see how it went for you guys? I felt better today for sure. I was able to do more than the week before. My arms are fatigued but nothing like last week. Let me know how things are going for you. How can we help each other as a group. I am proud of each of us to make this commitment to get into great shape through an extremely difficult program. We are all busy with work, school, and families but we have committed to a healthier body. Kuddos to all of you guys for taking the challenge. Keep pushing play and the results will be worth it.
Week 2
After shaking off the effects of Week one and a day of relaxing watching some Football I am feeling ready for Week 2.

Legs/Back/Ab Ripper X
Another workout down. I forgot how many lunges there actually were in that work out. I know that my legs will remind me for the next couple of days, that is for sure. I have received texts and enjoyed the posts and comments on this site. If it was not for the group effort, I can honestly say that I would have put on the skirt and either skipped or did not give it my all. Thanks for the support to all. Stay strong the pain will go away and the muscles will start to become more pronounced in the mirror.

Yoga X
Wow lets’ just say I don’t think my body is suppose to bend that way. Felt like a pretzel half the time in the posses that they doing. Not sure if anyone else had to but as this was my first time doing Yoga I had to pause a few times to see what pose they were doing. Found out that Yoga is a whole separate language. Sure glad for the Yoga Block but I was wondering if I could get two. One thing I noticed though was that my lower back was starting to feel a lot better by the end of it. I also gave my kids a good laugh when they saw me doing the different poses.

Day 3--Shoulders & Arms/Ab Ripper X
Well, I got a horrible nights sleep last night and the first 15 minutes made me feeling weak. Then the energy kicked in and I was able to push on and shred. I took Mike's advice and split ab ripper and did it earlier in the day. It was much better, not saying that it was perfect because my abs are still hurting from Monday but definitely the way to go. That is the great thing about this blog for me, posts from everyone with tips, advice, or just motivating words to keep the fire burning. I am glad that we are doing this together. What are your comments? Travis hope you are finding time to work out still with your busy schedule and sick wife. Hope she is feeling better.

Ply--ooowww-metrics
I don't know about you guys but this today kicked my butt. I did not realize how long it has been since I have done activities like this until tonight. Within the first ten minutes my quads started cramping up and it worried me. So I stopped the DVD drank some water and stretched for about 20 minutes. Then I pressed play again with an extreme unsure attitude I proceeded with caution. Once I got going, my legs loosened up and I made it through. If it was not for making this commitment to this contest I probably would have given up and found a seat on the couch. This will not be easy and we will be challenged in more ways than one. Mine is I am completely non-flexible plus out of shape. I am committed to this for a healthier body, are you?

If you haven't set up an account on the Team Beachbody website you should. It's free, and it has cool tools and information for support including nutritional informaton, recipes, and much more. Also, you can create a workout calendar that you will be able to follow online and team up with "buddies" and thousands of other fellow P90xers. Once we all buddy up we will be able to have access to each other's workout calendars and follow each other's progess. Here is the site address: http://teambeachbody.com My member name is mjohn502 and Kevin's is hfactor. If you are so inclined to create an account you can buddy up with us. I hope everyone had a successful day by completing the Chest & Back, and Ab Ripper X exercises! Good luck with Plyometrics tomorrow.
Chest and Back/Ab Ripper X
Day one is down, brutal getting started again. I felt weak and my arms are shaking trying to type this but it will all be worth it in the end. I heard from Rene and Mike that they completed the workout today. Brian? Travis? Have not heard from you guys yet. Eating every two hours and a brutal workout makes this old man tired. Going to get my recovery drink now and prepare for tomorrow with a good nights rest. Hope you all do the same. Hope to hear some success or struggles tomorrow, I don't want to be the only one.
The Day Has Arrived
The day has arrived to start P90X, hope everyone got a good nights rest and is ready to lose some fat and gain some lean muscle mass. Don't get discouraged, just stay focused and positive and it will happen. This blog and team was formed to motivate each of us to reach the health goals that we want and feel more energy and overall good health. Post your own struggles and success stories. It can be difficult juggling our jobs, families, and all over our demands but for 90 days let's all commit to making it happen

Lets Get Started
It is the Saturday before the start date, I have been sitting down making out my menu to plan for my success. If anyone has new recipes, tips, or anything you are in need of, post it so we can all lift each other up.
90 days is not very long if you have a support system in place.
